New Beginning, New Goal!

New Beginning, new goal! That's what is running through my head when I think about my admission in INFOTECH, Universität Stuttgart, Germany. Studying this Master program after having finished my Bachelor Thesis also in the same university, makes me familiar with the ambiance of the life here. So I really hope that I can do something good with this opportunity I am living now.

Also what made me back to post on my blog.. well today while going back home after some Christmas Gifts shopping trip, I met a colleague also studying the same Master program. Talking together, I discovered that he knew some info about me due to the fact that he checked my blog! I was really surprised! I thought that having left Cairo and the people I knew there, no one would be checking my blog anymore, but well, actually people were checking it! So knowing this fact, I decided to go back to my room and directly post a new post! Good encouragement!

Stuttgart and OpenGrafik..

Being in Stuttgart, Germany now and working on my Bachelor Project: OpenGrafik makes me in mood to get back to my blog and my posts. Life is nice here and my dorms are so near to my institute which makes life easy. Everything being calm, with a big forest beginning by a beautiful lake just behind my dorms, giving a great ambiance for enjoying, watching movies, listening to music and coding. Just the right place to be for this project. Hope will come out with something of good value at the end of my stay here!

connectmeTV..

Being so busy lately, having work everyday morning in connectmeTV. The ambiance here is nice and we have fun doing many things while also learning some stuff. We are trying to find an appropriate version of WebKit and so we are compiling all versions and recently Qt4.4 beta1 so we can try its WebKit. It is interesting to do this research part. We hope to come out with what we are hoping for at the end..

Linux Fest @ GUC (1st day)

Today, we did a little Linux Fest @ our uni, GUC. Our aim was to help our colleagues at uni to understand well the concept of Open Source Software. Fred did a presentation to introduce what is OSS and the history behind it. CVirus was talking about the different distributions and the package management. I did a presentation about the software alternatives and finally Drew talked about bash, KDE, Gnome and window managers. Then we burned some CDs and helped some people installing Ubuntu. After all it was a nice fest and we hope that tom., 2nd day in the fest, will be good too.

Strange food... Stranger feeling..

Now at connectmeTV, having our 1st internship day and having just eaten from a so strange place, we really have no idea what can happen to us :D but at this moment, we are all just sitting there.. feeling so strange, like the place we ate from, and wondering what will happen next...
