John Lennon - Imagine

Imagine by John Lennon, from the album Imagine, recorded in 1971. This song is considered an anti-war anthem. According to wikipedia, the lyrics were criticized by religious groups because of the part saying:

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace

Lennon's reply was the following: "If you can imagine a world at peace, with no denominations of religion - not without religion, but without this 'my God is bigger than your God' thing - then it can be true."

John Lennon was one of the founding members of The Beatles.

Preparing for Halloween at Save-On-Foods

I was buying some groceries at Save-On-Foods in Cambie street, Vancouver, when I found this huge Jack-o'-lantern (Halloween carved pumpkin) made out of Coca Cola Zero, A&W Root Beer and Sprite boxes. It's their own way of preparing for Halloween I guess!
